How does Bond Bear work?
Bond Bear is designed to be both huggable and technological, in the “Send a Warm Embrace” mode its arm mirrors your swipe, replicating your exact motion on your loved one, creating a virtual hug that's as real as can be!
And for those moments when you need instant comfort, you can use it’s “Self-Soothing” mode by, holding Bond Bear close to you and caressing its back to experience an immediate snuggle that's perfect for soothing children or finding solace during uneasy times.
In order for Bond Bear to work, you need to download the “iXu Bear app” and connect it to your Bear.
My Bond Bear has a iXu Bear tag, does that mean that it’s not an original Bond Touch product?
Items sold from October 23’ until January 24’ have a iXu Bear tag, but don’t worry! Your product is still original and will be covered in our warranty if something happens to it.
How many users can one Bond Bear have?
Bond Bear needs to be connected to the “iXu App”, and this app can be connected to up to 5 users.
What is the distance limit between Bond Bear and a smartphone?
The distance between iXu and a smartphone is limited by the range of a Bluetooth connection between these two. Average Bluetooth range is usually 33 feet/10m.
Which materials is the Bond Bear made of?
Bond Bear's fabric is made of Polyester (PL)/Elastan (EL) and inner padding material Polyurethane foam (PU).
Is Bond Bear machine-washable?
Bond Bear is not machine washable as it contains electronic components inside. The fabric material is resistant to neutral detergents and can be wiped gently with a cloth.
Are there any age limitations or hazards?
Bond Bear is designed and safety tested for 6 years and up. We’ve ensured that all aspects of the bear are securely attached so as not to provide a choking hazard, however, we do recommend that young children always be supervised while having/using Bond Bear.
